This cozy cottage is located close to the immediate conveniences along Hwy 118 and Hwy 35 where you will find the towns of Carnarvon, West Guilford, Minden and Haliburton Village.
Little Boshkung is part of a 3 lake chain with 12 Mile Lake, Little Boshkung and Big Boshkung which are all accessible by boat. The fishing is really good, so don't forget your fishing gear and tackle. If golf is your passion, there are several fine courses to choose from in the Highlands. There are convenience stores in the area, but if you are in need of more serious shopping, the villages of Minden and Haliburton have large food stores, quaint shops, pharmacies, beer stores, LCBO, banking, butchers, restaurants, live entertainment and a whole lot more. There is a hospital and health care in both villages as well. In addition, there is always something special going on in the villages during the summer. Considering you are relatively close to Hwy 35, a nice day trip for the family would be a visit to Algonquin Park.
